Order of the day

Here's how the day will unfold. Timings are a guide; the only one that really matters is the ceremony at 2pm.

  1. Guests arrive

    Ushers will meet you at the front of the house and guide you to the Walled Garden.

  2. Ceremony

    In the Walled Garden. If it rains, we'll move into the Glasshouse.

  3. Drinks on the lawn

    Champagne, canapés and lawn games while we take photographs.

  4. Dinner

    A three-course dinner in the Glasshouse.

  5. Speeches and cake

    Tissues provided.

  6. First dance

    Followed by a live band and dancing until late.

  7. Carriages

    Taxis and the return shuttle leave from the front drive.

Dress code

Garden formal

Summer suits, cocktail dresses and jumpsuits all work well. The ceremony is on the lawn, so block heels are kinder than stilettos. Evenings in the Cotswolds can be cool, so bring a layer.

The weekend

If you're making a weekend of it, we'd love to see you on Friday evening and Sunday morning too. Both are relaxed and entirely optional.
